Phil Chalos Bio
After 22 years of professional Oil & Gas industry experience throughout the Appalachian Basin, Philip D. Chalos founded his own company, Old Natchez Energy, in 2012, establishing offices in both Marietta, Ohio and Nashville, Tennessee.
As an independent land agent, manager and consultant, Phil has orchestrated large-scale projects for energy and oil and gas entities throughout the Basin, including the extensive Trenton Black River project in southern New York state for Belden and Blake and East Resources AMI. For four years, Phil served as Environmental Coordinator of Operations/Special Projects for Clarksburg, WV-based Alamco, Inc., one of the fastest growing oil and gas production companies in the Appalachian Basin, where he coordinated drilling operations and managed more than 1,000 oil wells.
Since 2000, Phil’s broad-based management and right of way expertise throughout the Appalachian Basin, coupled with his exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to assemble formidable teams for any O&G venture has contributed greatly to the successful efforts of a wide range of clients’ expansion into “God’s country,” the most drilled and under-developed region for natural resources in the continental U.S.
Phil and his wife, Melissa, and their three children, Nic, Grace and Jackson live in Franklin, Tennessee.
