In the Oil & Gas business, as in most businesses, there are essentially two schools of thought: 1) do what you have to do to get by and 2) do the best possible work you can do.

At Old Natchez Energy, we’ve been around long enough to know that #1 just doesn’t cut it... and even when the status quo seemed to be acceptable, it never was. It never is.

It’s not who we are, and it’s not how we approach our work.

So what is the Old Natchez approach? It’s a simple set of principals that influences how we operate.

Old Natchez Energy specializes in serving clients throughout the Appalachian Basin, in particular the Marcellus and Utica Shale plays. The Marcellus Shale is the 2nd largest shale formation in the United States and the 3rd largest in the world. The Utica Shale, the exploration of which began in Quebec in 2006, extends through Pennsylvania, New York, West Virginia and Ohio, where drilling and permits have reached record highs.
